At CareerMailman, we are adamant about protecting the privacy of our subscribers. Our policy is clear: we never release or sell any of the information you give us without your permission. CareerMailman has created this privacy statement to demonstrate our commitment to protecting the privacy of our subscribers and other visitors to our websites. Information Collection and Use CareerMailman collects registration and authentication information from users of our websites; we are the sole owners of the information collected on our sites. Log Files We use IP addresses to identify trends, administer the site, track users' movements within our sites and gather broad demographic information for aggregated use. We will not share this information with others. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifying information. Links This website and our newsletters contain links to other sites that have been screened and assessed for appropriate content prior to publication on our site. Please be aware that we are not responsible for the privacy practices of other sites. We cannot guarantee that quality content standards will be maintained at other sites. This privacy statement applies solely to information collected by CareerMailman websites. Newsletters If you wish to subscribe to any newsletter we produce, we ask for contact information, such as your name and e-mail address. Your e-mail address will be used to deliver the newsletter(s) and information from the CareerMailman websites. It will NOT be distributed to others for commercial or any other purposes. OptIn Mechanism For your security, CareerMailman uses an email reply subscription method. After submitting the subscription form complete with first name, last name and email address, you'll receive an email message asking you to confirm your subscription by clicking a link in that email. This prevents someone else from inadvertently or erroneously subscribing you to our newsletter. You must confirm your subscription to be added to our newsletter distribution list. Subscription confirmations will be processed within a week. Subscriber Surveys CareerMailman may from time to time conduct surveys that ask you for feedback on various products and services. We use that information for market research, to improve our service offerings, identify desirable new career tools and perform site and service enhancements. We do not release information from individual survey responses outside CareerMailman without prior permission. We may occasionally share aggregated data with selected business partners. Some surveys may be performed by outside professional firms on our behalf to minimize bias. Those professionals are bound by these same restrictions.
